What you need (use what you have)

What you need (use what you have)

Essentials

  • A bowl of salt (regular table salt)
  • A cup of water
  • Candle (white/unscented) or a lamp/phone flashlight
  • Scent/smoke you tolerate: incense, frankincense, palo santo, lemongrass — or sound (bell, spoon on cup)
  • Paper & pen

Optional

  • String/thread for a cord-cut
  • A small mirror
  • Essential oil (lavender/lemongrass)

Important Reminders

  • Practice with faith and sincerity
  • Stay focused during the ritual
  • Caution: If you don't have a curse, this ritual may become more powerful—use with intention

Words you can use

Release: I release and return all energies that aren't mine, with peace and without return.
Protection: Only what serves my highest good may cross my boundary.
Sovereignty: I reclaim my time, attention, and power now.

Step 1 — Open & protect

5 minutes
  • Tidy the room a little; open a window/door for airflow.
  • Draw a simple boundary: sprinkle a tiny line of salt across the doorway (vacuum later).
  • Light the candle (or turn on a lamp) and say:
“I call in clarity and protection. Only what serves my highest good may be here.”

Step 2 — Body cleanse

7–10 minutes

Pick one:

  • Water + salt: dissolve a pinch of salt in the cup; dab forehead/heart/palms with fingertips. “I am cleansed and returned to myself.”
  • Smoke or sound: waft smoke or ring a bell around your body head‑to‑toe, front and back, especially at crown, throat, heart, and soles of feet.
  • Visualization: imagine a gentle shower of light washing you top to bottom, carrying away gray static into the earth.

Step 3 — Cut cords + return energy

8–10 minutes
  • On paper, write what feels heavy: names, habits, phrases, fears.
  • Read it once, then say:
“I release these cords with forgiveness and wisdom. What’s mine returns; what’s not mine goes back to its source, purified.”
  • Tear the paper into small pieces (or cut a thread as a symbolic “cord”). Dispose: flush/sink (paper only), or trash outside your room.
  • Face a mirror briefly and affirm: “I am sovereign in my energy. I choose peace.”

Step 4 — Seal the field

5–7 minutes
  • Trace a small circle in the air around you with your hand (or around the room).
  • Imagine a soft, breathable egg of light forming. Say:
“This boundary stays for 7 days. Only truth, compassion, and opportunities aligned with me may enter.”
  • Dab a drop of essential oil on wrists/neck, or place a pinch of salt at the four corners of the room (vacuum later).

Step 5 — Anchor in the physical

5–8 minutes
  • Drink clean water slowly.
  • Eat a small grounding snack (rice, nuts, warm tea).
  • Shower if you can (let the water carry stress down the drain).

Step 6 — Close

2 minutes
  • Thank whatever you called on (God/ancestors/universe/inner wisdom).
  • Extinguish the candle safely (don’t blow hard—pinch or snuffer).

Safety

If you’re sensitive, skip smoke; use sound or water. Keep flames away from fabric/pets. If intrusive thoughts or anxiety feel overwhelming or persistent, pair this ritual with professional mental‑health support.
